Getting started

Do I need an account?

No. Titanova has no sign-up and no login. Your data stays on your devices and syncs through your own iCloud account.

How do I get a feel for the app quickly?

The first time you open Titanova, a short setup helps you pick a goal and a few habits; every step can be skipped. Afterwards, the Get Started list on Today walks you through the basics. To see a filled-in example, open Settings › Help and tap Add “How to Use Titanova”; remove it from the same place. Replay Tours in Settings › Help shows the short tours again. Settings is in Browse.

How do templates work?

Open Browse › Templates, or tap the template button on an empty Habits or Goals tab. Pick a goal plan, a single habit or a multi-week program, untick the parts you don’t want, choose an area and a start day, and add it. What you add becomes your own goals, habits and tasks, which you can change freely. Templates are free to use; the items they create count toward the free limits like any other.

Which devices does Titanova run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26.1 or later, Mac with macOS 26.1 or later, and Apple Watch with watchOS 26 or later. The Apple Watch app comes with the iPhone app.

Tasks

How do repeating tasks work?

Open a task and tap Repeat. Choose Daily, Weekdays, Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, Every 3 Months, Every 6 Months, Yearly, or Custom for your own schedule and an end date. You can also type it in Quick Add, like “Standup every day at 9am”. When you complete a repeating task, it moves to its next date. Repeat History on the task lists the times you completed, and you can undo one there. A repeating task stays a task; it doesn’t become a habit.

How do I attach a photo or file to a task?

Open the task and tap Add Attachment under Attachments, then choose Photo Library or Choose File. Tap an attachment to open it. A task can have up to 20 attachments of up to 25 MB each. Attachments sync with the task through your iCloud and are part of Titanova Pro.

What is the timeline?

The timeline shows your goals and projects on one chart, by month, quarter, year or five years. Open it from the toolbar in Goals, or from a goal’s or an area’s menu to see only that goal or area. The timeline is part of Titanova Pro.

Assistant

What can the Assistant do?

Open the Assistant tab and ask about your day, goals and habits in your own words. The Assistant answers from what you keep in Titanova and can suggest new tasks, habits or goals, or changes to them. Nothing changes until you tap a suggestion, and you can undo it. You can type, tap the microphone, or add a photo of a note to turn it into tasks. The Assistant also suggests tasks in Plan Day, writes a summary in the weekly review and proposes a plan for a goal.

Which devices and languages does the Assistant support?

The Assistant uses Apple’s on-device model, so it needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence. If Apple Intelligence is turned off, the Assistant tab stays and tells you how to turn it on. The chat is on iPhone and iPad. It answers in English, Turkish, German, French or Spanish, when the app is in one of these languages. The model writes the other suggestions and summaries in English. In other languages, and on devices without Apple Intelligence, Titanova shows no Assistant tab, Insights stays in the tab bar, and Titanova makes suggestions with its own rules. To use the chat, set Titanova’s language to one of the five in Settings › General › Language. Settings › Assistant shows the status on your device.

Is the Assistant free?

For your first 7 days, the chat has no limit. After that, the free plan includes 3 questions a day, and Titanova Pro has no limit. Tapping a suggestion doesn’t use a question. The suggestions and summaries that the model writes are part of Titanova Pro; the rule-based suggestions stay free.

Does the Assistant send my data anywhere?

No. The model runs on your device, and Titanova uses no cloud AI service. The chat isn’t saved: it’s cleared when you tap New Chat or quit the app. A photo you add isn’t kept; only its text goes into the message field. On iPhone and iPad, you can turn the model off in Settings › Assistant › Use Assistant. See the privacy policy.

Calendar and time blocks

How do I see my calendar in Titanova?

Open Today and switch the view from List to Calendar. The first time, Titanova asks for access to your calendars. Your events show next to your tasks, habits and time blocks, and you can create, change or delete an event there. To choose which calendars to show, open the calendar view’s menu and tap Calendars. This choice is for this device only.

My calendar events don’t appear.

Make sure you allowed calendar access. If you denied it earlier, turn it on in your device’s Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars (on Mac: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars). Then check that the calendar is turned on under Calendars in the calendar view’s menu.

Are my events copied into Titanova?

No. Titanova reads events from Calendar on your device and doesn’t copy them into its data, iCloud sync or backups. An event you create or change in Titanova is saved in Calendar. Time blocks are Titanova’s own and sync through iCloud with your other data.

Areas and pictures

How do I add a cover or vision board to an area?

Open the area and use its menu. Add Cover picks a photo, and Open Vision Board holds up to nine pictures. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Create Image makes a picture with Image Playground, starting from the area’s name or vision, and Create Icon makes a picture for the area’s icon. Titanova removes a photo’s location and other details before it saves the photo. Your pictures sync through iCloud.

Why don’t I see Create Image?

Image Playground needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other devices the option is hidden; you can still use photos and the area’s symbol.

Goals, habits and units

What kinds of habits can I track?

When you create a habit, choose what you track: Check (done or not), Count (whole numbers, like 8 glasses), Amount (any amount in a unit, like 2.5 km) or Time (with a timer or typed as h:mm). Then choose a direction: Build to reach a target, Limit to stay at or under it (Titanova shows what’s left for today), or Quit to stay at zero, where any log counts as a slip.

How do goals measure progress?

A goal can reach a number, finish its tasks or complete its subgoals, or just track a value. A number goal has a unit, a start, a target and a direction: increase, decrease, stay above, stay below, or stay in a range. It can run once or repeat every week, month, quarter or year; each period starts fresh and past periods stay on the goal’s page.

Under What Counts you choose what moves the goal, and you can turn on several at once: entries you log yourself, linked habits, linked tasks, Apple Health and, for goals measured in time, focus sessions. The goal page shows whether you’re on pace and what you need per day to get there.

Can I use my own units?

Yes. Pick from a long list of standard units, or tap New Unit… in the unit picker to make your own, such as “cup” or “chapter”. Give it a size (for example 1 cup = 250 mL) and values convert between units of the same kind. Titanova shows big numbers in a friendlier unit of the same system, for example 2 L instead of 2,000 mL, and keeps the exact value in the details.

My habit counts toward a goal in a different unit. What happens?

If the habit and the goal measure the same kind of thing (for example miles and kilometers), the amount is converted. If not, each completed day adds 1 to the goal. The goal’s What Counts section shows which rule applies.

Sync and devices

How does sync work?

Titanova syncs through the private database of your iCloud account. Sign in with the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is on for Titanova (your device’s Settings › [your name] › iCloud). Changes usually arrive within a few minutes. Settings › iCloud Sync in Titanova shows when the last sync happened and any problem.

My data isn’t syncing. What can I check?

  • Both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account, and iCloud is on for Titanova.
  • Both devices are online. Titanova keeps working offline and syncs when the connection is back.
  • Your iCloud storage isn’t full. If it is, new changes stay on the device until there is space; Settings › iCloud Sync tells you when this happens.
  • Open Titanova on both devices and give it a minute in the foreground.

If it still doesn’t sync, contact us with what Settings › iCloud Sync shows.

Can I use Titanova without iCloud?

Yes. Everything works on the device; your data just doesn’t sync to your other devices.

Does Titanova work on iPad and Mac? Do I pay again?

Titanova runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac. On iPad and Mac, a sidebar holds your lists, areas and projects, and tasks, habits and goals open in an inspector next to the list. With a keyboard, press Command-K to find any command, and hold Command to see the shortcuts. Titanova Pro is a single purchase that works on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch when you use the same Apple Account, and your data syncs between them through iCloud.

What is different on Mac?

On Mac, Titanova adds a menu bar item and Quick Entry: press Control-Option-N in any app to add a task. You can change the shortcut in Settings. Apple Health and location reminders aren’t available on Mac, and the Assistant’s chat is on iPhone and iPad only. A habit connected to Apple Health shows “Tracked on iPhone” on Mac.

Apple Watch

How do I start Titanova on Apple Watch?

Open Titanova on your iPhone first, signed in to iCloud. Then open Titanova on the watch: it gets your tasks, habits and goals from iCloud, and the first time can take a few minutes. Until then the watch shows what your iPhone sent, and you can check things off once syncing finishes. Turn the Digital Crown to move between Today, Habits, Goals and Focus.

What can I do on the watch?

  • Today: tap a task or habit to complete it. Tap + to add a task by dictating or typing; without a date, it goes to your Inbox.
  • Habits: tap a habit to check it off. For an amount, turn the Digital Crown, or tap Skip Today.
  • Goals: tap a goal to add to it or set its new total.
  • Focus: start a focus timer. When it ends, the notification can add 5 more minutes.
  • Controls (watchOS 27): add Focus Timer or Log Habit to Control Center or to the Action button.
  • Watch face: edit your watch face and add Titanova’s complications, or find the Up Next card in the Smart Stack.

Does Titanova Pro work on the watch?

Yes. Buy Titanova Pro on your iPhone; the watch unlocks with the same Apple Account. On the free plan the watch has the same limits as your iPhone, and an item above the limit says “Unlock on iPhone”.

Can I back up my data or move it from another app?

Yes. Settings › Data › Export & Back Up saves a backup file of everything, including your attachments, or spreadsheets (CSV) of your goals, habits and tasks. Restore from Backup brings a backup back. Import from Other Apps adds tasks from Reminders or from files exported by other to-do apps, and goals, habits and tasks from Titanova’s own spreadsheets (Titanova CSV). Before a restore or an import, Titanova keeps a safety backup on the device so you can go back.

My old widgets and shortcuts stopped working.

Widgets and Shortcuts actions were rebuilt in 2.0. Remove the old widget, add it again from the widget gallery, and recreate shortcuts with the new Titanova actions in the Shortcuts app.

Titanova Pro and purchases

What is free, and what does Titanova Pro add?

Free: up to 4 goals, 4 habits, 8 projects and 5 lists, plus unlimited tasks, templates, widgets, reminders, the calendar view and iCloud sync. The Assistant’s chat has no limit for the first 7 days, then 3 questions a day. Titanova Pro: no limits on goals, habits, projects and lists, plus Insights, the timeline, task attachments and the Assistant without limits.

What happens to my goals and habits if Pro ends?

Nothing is deleted or locked away. Items above the free limit become paused (read-only): you can still see, archive, complete or delete them, and when you delete or archive one, the next paused item unlocks.

How does the free trial work?

The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial if you haven’t had one before. The plans screen shows the price you pay after it. Titanova reminds you two days before the trial ends (if notifications are on). Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

What does Lifetime include?

Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no subscription. It includes every Titanova Pro feature, now and in future updates, except future features with ongoing costs, which may be offered separately. Until December 31, 2026, Lifetime is available at a lower founder price; the plans screen shows the date the offer ends.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings › Titanova Pro and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings › Titanova Pro › Manage Subscription, or your device’s Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. In Titanova, open Settings › Titanova Pro › Request a Refund, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can I share Pro with my family?

Family Sharing isn’t available for Titanova Pro.

Apple Health

How do I connect Apple Health?

For a habit: open the habit and choose Apple Health, or go to Settings › Health › Link a Habit. Pick the data (for example steps, workouts, sleep, water or mindful minutes) and a daily goal; the habit checks itself off when Health reaches it, and you can still log it yourself. For a goal: in the goal’s What Counts, turn on Apple Health and search the Health data you want, from distance and active energy to weight, heart rate or nutrition. Titanova asks permission only for the data you pick. On Apple Watch, Titanova asks once for the Health data your habits and goals use, then reads it on the watch.

My Health habit or goal doesn’t update.

iOS doesn’t tell apps when you deny read access, so Titanova simply sees no data. Check your device’s Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Titanova and make sure the type is turned on, and that the Health app has data for that day. Apple Watch asks for Health access on its own, so check that it was allowed on the watch too. Each iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch reads its own Health data, so a device without that data won’t show it.

Why does a Health goal say this version of iOS can’t read it?

Heart rate variability (RMSSD) can be read only on iOS 27 and later. On iOS 26, a goal that uses it says so, and devices on iOS 27 or later still count it.

Does Titanova store or upload my Health data?

Titanova only reads Health data and never writes to it. What it reads stays on that device to check off habits and show progress. Your iPhone also sends a Today summary to your paired Apple Watch over the direct connection between them, not through iCloud. Health data is never synced to iCloud, never put in backups and never shared. See the privacy policy.

Reminders and sharing

How do I bring my reminders over?

Settings › Integrations › Import from Reminders (or Settings › Data › Import from Other Apps › Apple Reminders). Pick the lists, choose where each list goes, and import. Reminders itself isn’t changed.

Can Titanova keep following my Reminders lists?

Yes. In Settings › Integrations, open Mirror Reminders, turn it on and pick the lists. Their reminders show up as tasks and follow every change you make in Reminders. Titanova never changes Reminders. If you edit a mirrored task in Titanova, it stops following its reminder. When a reminder is deleted, its task moves to the Trash, unless you added details to it in Titanova. Turning mirroring off keeps the tasks.

How do I add something from Safari, Mail or Notes?

Tap the Share button in that app and choose Titanova. The page, text or link becomes a task in your Inbox. With Ask Assistant, it becomes a question in the Assistant’s chat instead.

Privacy and your data

Can I lock the app?

Yes. Settings › Privacy & Security › Require Face ID (or Touch ID). You can also set a passcode just for Titanova. With the lock on, the app’s content is also hidden in the app switcher. Hide Content in Widgets and Notifications keeps titles off your Lock Screen and Home Screen.

I deleted something by mistake.

Use Undo right away, or find it in Trash (Browse › Trash). Items stay in Trash for 30 days.

How do I delete all my data?

Titanova keeps your data on your devices and in your own iCloud, so you delete it there:

  1. Delete Titanova from each iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. This removes the data on that device. On a Mac, also delete the folders named com.koksoft.titanova in ~/Library/Containers and group.com.koksoft.titanova in ~/Library/Group Containers.
  2. Then open your device’s Settings, tap your name, then iCloud › Storage (or Manage Account Storage) › Titanova, and delete its data. This removes your synced data from iCloud and can’t be undone.

If you want to keep a copy first, use Settings › Data › Export & Back Up before you start. Your purchases stay with your Apple Account and can be restored if you reinstall.

Contacting us

What should I include when I write to you?

Settings › Help › Contact Support opens your mail app with the app version and build, OS version, device model and language filled in. Otherwise, email hello@titanova.app and include those details, what you expected and what happened, and a screenshot if you can.
