Today and the calendar
Updated October 28, 2026
Today brings your tasks, habits and calendar events together. You can see the day as a list or on a calendar.
Switch between List and Calendar
In Today, tap More (…) › View and choose List or Calendar. Your choice stays on this device.
The calendar shows one Day or several days: 3 Day on iPhone, Week on iPad and Mac. Pick them in the same menu.
Show your calendar events
The first time you open the calendar, Titanova asks for access to your calendars. Your events then show next to your tasks, habits and time blocks.
- Under Show in the menu, turn Tasks, Habits, Time Blocks, Events and Unplanned Tasks on or off.
- Calendars in the same menu chooses which calendars appear. This choice is for this device only.
- In the List view, Show Events adds your events to Today’s list.
Plan with drag and drop
- Press and hold a task, habit or time block, then drag it to another time. Drag its bottom edge to make it longer or shorter.
- Unplanned Tasks sit above the grid. Drag one onto a time to plan it.
- Press and hold empty time and drag over a range, or double-tap empty time for an hour. Then choose what to make there: a task, a time block or an event.
- Add Time Block and New Event are also in the add menu at the top.
Time blocks and events
A time block reserves time for something, like deep work, and can be linked to a goal or a project. Time blocks are Titanova’s own and sync through iCloud with your other data.
Events belong to your calendars. Titanova reads them on your device and doesn’t copy them into its data, sync or backups. An event you create or change in Titanova is saved in Calendar.
To get a notification before each timed event, choose a time in Settings › Notifications › Before Events. It is off until you set it.
My events don’t appear
- Make sure Titanova may use your calendars: on iPhone and iPad in Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars, on Mac in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.
- In the calendar’s menu, check that the calendar is on under Calendars and that Events is on under Show.
