iCloud sync and backup
Updated October 28, 2026
How sync works
Titanova syncs through the private database of your iCloud account. There is no Titanova account, and we can’t see your data.
Sign in with the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is on for Titanova (your device’s Settings › [your name] › iCloud). Changes usually arrive within a few minutes. Settings › iCloud Sync in Titanova shows when the last sync happened and any problem.
Titanova works offline and syncs when the connection is back. It also works without iCloud; your data then stays on that device.
Apple Health data is never synced or backed up. Each device reads its own.
My data isn’t syncing
- Both devices use the same Apple Account, and iCloud is on for Titanova.
- Both devices are online.
- Your iCloud storage isn’t full. If it is, new changes wait on the device until there is space. Settings › iCloud Sync tells you when this happens.
- Open Titanova on both devices and keep it open for a minute.
If it still doesn’t sync, contact us with what Settings › iCloud Sync shows.
Back up and restore
Open Settings › Data:
- Export & Back Up saves a backup file of everything, including attachments, or spreadsheets (CSV) of your goals, habits and tasks.
- Restore from Backup brings a backup back. It replaces the data in Titanova.
- Import from Other Apps adds tasks from Reminders or from files exported by other to-do apps, and goals, habits and tasks from Titanova’s own spreadsheets.
Before a restore or an import, Titanova keeps a safety backup on the device, so you can go back.
